Story

The idea behind the work

The work explores the difference between the world we perceive, always changing, and the ideas that can remain stable landmarks in our thinking.

The meaning in the painting

A river of light flows between dark marble forms edged with gold, and above it floats a perfect sphere. The matter moves and changes; the sphere stays untouched, like an idea that does not depend on what passes.

Craft

A finished work

Materials, frame and finish complete the identity of the work.
