Story

The idea behind the work

The order we build in life begins in our thoughts. When they become clearer and calmer, they can guide our decisions and our steps.

The meaning in the painting

A classical column rises from a fragmented stone surface, and a golden circle organises the composition around it. The contrast between stable architecture and cracked layers suggests that order takes shape in the midst of complexity. The eye finds a point of reference, and from it balance and direction emerge.

Craft

A finished work

Materials, frame and finish complete the identity of the work.
